"Painting" With Fabric
Each item is an original work of art. Referencing a photograph I select a color palette from my collection of textured fabrics that will best reflect the essence of the subject.
Piecing it all Together
I cut individual shapes from different tones of color fabric similar to that of the original image. These pieces are layered, like puzzle pieces, and sewn in place using a hand-guided method on a vintage sewing machine to add finishing details.
